The Company — Kitchen Dance collaborative

Based out of New York City, the Kitchen Dance Collaborative (formerly Jessica Lewis Arts) is a modern dance company focusing on modern dance forms, creating opportunities for students, and creating community. The Kitchen Dance Collaborative is a relaunching of Jessica Lewis Arts dance company, to further highlight the collaborative nature of choreography, dance, and theater, and investigate the role of art in creating and being in community. The company is a collaborative project which is lead by Directors and founding members Jessica Lewis and Gina Marie Borden. KDC collaborates with artists of various backgrounds both in dance and in other artistic fields. KDC is available for booking for performances, commissions, and special projects. KDC can be seen throughout New York City and the tri-state area in various performances, as well as self-produced performances. The Kitchen Dance Collaborative is a 5013 non-profit organization, with the mission of creating new and exciting works, and educating students of all ages, as well as exposing students to the creative process and performance.
